Open Mic and Showcasing

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING DATES:

• We are having Open Mic tonight at 6:30PM for those who signed up last Tuesday. There will be NO SIGN UPS today.
   
• There is NO Open Mic or Showcases on Feb 14th.
   
• We are holding sign ups at 5PM on Feb 14th for the Open Mic show on Feb 21st. We will have showcases on Feb 21st.

Would you like to perform at the World Famous Laugh Factory in Hollywood? Come perform for us at Open Mic. We look forward to watching 2-3 minutes of your strictly G-rated, prepared material - no notes allowed! Must be over 18 to enter the club.
 

Open Mic starts at 6:30pm on Tuesdays. Sign up is at 5pm. Signing up grants you a spot on the following Tuesday's open mic (not the day you sign up). Keep in mind that on average we only accept the first 10-15 people and comics usually line up hours before the sign up time. You are only allowed to perform open mic once every four weeks at the Laugh Factory. If your 2-3 minute open mic performance goes well, you will move on to showcase. Showcasers perform for six minutes and are not restricted to G-rated material. Showcasers can move on to become a Laugh Factory regular. Sorry, but we do not accept hardcopy submissions in place of open mic or showcase performances.
